Liliana Gonzalez believes that each client’s cultural context and personal identity profoundly shape how they see themselves and their careers. Using a strengths-based and culture-infused approach, Liliana helps clients identify their unique talents, gain career clarity, and make intentional choices that lead to career alignment, professional growth, and workplace well-being.

 An experienced Registered Psychologist, Liliana brings an empathetic, curious, and practical mindset to every career counselling and career coaching session. She works with individuals to enhance career satisfaction, confidence, and motivation, empowering them to achieve meaningful success in their professional and personal lives. She focuses on career alignment, leadership development, workplace success, and career transition support, blending empathy with strategy to help clients take actionable steps toward their goals. Liliana is also fluent in Spanish and English. 

Since 2015, Liliana has worked in the career development field, supporting a wide range of clients—from students and new graduates to mid-career professionals and executives seeking career advancement or renewed purpose. As a Career Development Specialist at the University of Calgary, she has guided thousands of students from diverse academic and cultural backgrounds, helping them navigate the Canadian workplace, strengthen job search strategies, and achieve career fulfillment. She has also presented at national conferences and published articles in both national and international magazines on career development, cultural integration, and professional identity.

Liliana approaches career counselling and career coaching holistically, integrating creativity and evidence-based practice. Liliana’s expertise is informed by her commitment to lifelong learning. She holds a Master of Counselling Psychology and a Bachelor of Science in Psychology with a minor in Visual Studies and Art History, along with a Human Resource Management Certificate from the University of Calgary. She has also completed certifications in Career Education, Holistic Narrative Career Practice, and has additional certificates in Nutrition, Interior Design, and Digital Media Design; This diverse foundation enhances her ability to help clients connect their skills and passions with evolving career opportunities and allows her to relate to clients across industries and disciplines.

In addition to her career counselling and coaching work at Canada Career Counselling, Liliana offers Personal Counselling through Synthesis Psychology . She supports clients in managing stress, cultural transitions, mindfulness, anxiety and self-esteem, and helps them build the confidence and resilience to thrive both professionally and personally. She also provides couples counselling.
