Pam is a compassionate, empathetic, and practical counsellor. She has spent the last 25 years working with project and corporate teams, across Canada and globally, and is passionate about helping growing and mature professionals with workplace issues, career development, and work/life transitions.
Pam understands the physical and emotional suffering stress, anxiety, depression, feeling overwhelmed, and burnout can cause, and leverages her own experiences to help others navigate these challenges.
Sometimes it is easier to talk to someone other than family or friends, to unburden your thoughts or navigate a new path in life. Other times, we may feel stuck or are thinking about a life change. Either way, Pam offers to be your sounding board and confidant.
Pam enjoys connecting with individuals, young adults, parents, seniors, and professionals. Animals are also very special to Pam, and she deeply values the power of human-animal relationships, including how pets support healthy living and aging.
Pam also provides personal counselling through Synthesis Psychology for individuals. Her areas of support include for grief and loss, anxiety, burnout, infidelity/relationships.
Pam is a Registered Provisional Psychologist and a member of the College of Alberta Psychologists and Psychologists’ Association of Alberta. She earned a Master of Arts in Counselling Psychology from Yorkville University and completed her Bachelor of Science in Psychology at the University of Calgary. Pam is also a Chartered Professional in Human Resources and is a trusted advisor to peers and employers.
