She / Her
Caroline is a Career Counsellor working toward her designation as a Registered Psychologist. Beginning her career in the business world (working for two of Canada’s Big Five banks), she played an active role in the development of executive training aimed at enhancing workplace culture and participated in leadership committees. Since then, Caroline has successfully navigated her own career transition – her passion for psychotherapy and her business acumen resulted in her unconventional and unique journey into Career Counselling. Caroline’s psychotherapy experience includes supporting clients with career transitions, career development, self-esteem, boundary setting, burnout, sexual identity, depression and other mental health-related difficulties.
Caroline’s approach to counselling is fuelled by the belief that a career should be shaped to fit the individual, rather than the individual trying to fit their career. Caroline helps clients deepen their self-understanding and move through emotional roadblocks that contribute to feeling stuck or overwhelmed. She takes a practical, empathetic approach that supports clients in building a career that feels authentic and aligned with their values and goals. This work helps clients gain greater insight into themselves and develop skills to confidently navigate their professional lives. Caroline supports clients with a range of topics spanning from individual obstacles like anxiety to professional challenges like strategically navigating workplace dynamics.
Caroline is currently in the final stages of completing a Master’s degree in Clinical Psychology at Adler Graduate Professional School and is supervised by Psychologist Meghan Reid. She also holds an Honours Bachelor of Business Administration from the Lazaridis School of Business (Wilfrid Laurier University). Caroline’s therapeutic approach is integrative, drawing on Cognitive Behavioural Therapy, Interpersonal Therapy, and Emotion-Focused Therapy, with an emphasis on self-compassion.
