Allison brings strategic and practical insight to clients navigating career transitions. She helps clients take consistent action towards building the careers they want, whether they’re walking a straight line or looking to pivot. Allison’s specialties include crafting an authentic professional brand including Resume, LinkedIn profile and Cover Letter writing; powerful confidence-building Interview Preparation sessions; and coming up with Job Search Strategies that get results.

Prior to Career Advising, Allison’s background is in human resources, people and talent, where she managed global functions including recruitment, talent development, compensation and rewards. Allison’s corporate background spans consulting on senior HR issues with companies across many industries, to working in-house as a subject matter expert at one of Canada’s leading financial institutions.

Allison holds an HBA from the Richard Ivey School of Business at Western University and an MBA from Queen’s University and has been designated an Associate Certified Coach by the International Coach Federation, which sets the standard in coaching best practice and ethics globally.
